Digital Wildlife Photography

With Shawn Carey

Wellfleet Bay Mass Audubon Sanctuary

Welcome dinner: Thursday July 28, 2011

Workshop: July 29 - 31

Instructors: Shawn Carey and Eric Smith

Explore the art of wildlife photography using digital technology. Turtles, birds and butterflies are just a few of the wild subjects we hope to photograph. This hand-on, four day workshop focuses on the fundamentals of photography and an introduction to editing images using Photoshop and Lightroom 3. Both indoor and outdoor workshops are planned. Outdoor sessions will be scheduled in the early morning and late afternoon to take advantage of the best light of the day. Use of the instructor's professional Canon camera, lenses and other accessories will be encouraged; however participants need to also have their own digital SLR camera and having a working knowledge of their equipment. This course is best suited for intermediate to advanced photographers.
